Light Iron recently hosted an event for Manhattan Edit Workshop and The Blue Collar Post Collective (BCPC) in our New York facility featuring renowned Film Editor Susan E. Morse.

Susan, who prefers to go by Sandy, is known for collaborating with Ralph Rosenblum, Woody Allen, and most recently Louis C.K. She has over forty film credits ranging from Annie Hall to Hannah and Her Sisters, Manhattan, Crimes and Misdemeanors and other critically acclaimed works. We are fortunate to be working with Sandy on one of our projects at Light Iron NY, Novitiate.

Sandy and First Assistant Editor Tricia Holmes are cutting in one of our editorial suites using Avid. After speaking with Tricia and Sandy, they both said that they enjoy working with Light Iron because of our friendly and relaxed work environment. “I’m able to take a break and talk to other people at Light Iron when I’m not working,” Tricia said. Sandy also added that she appreciates the amount of female colleagues here at Light Iron.

The Blue Collar Post Collective was co-founded by Light Iron NY’s own Finishing Artist, Katie Hinsen. To find out more information about their mission, check out their website.
