Director of Marketing
Laura Pursley’s passion for the film industry started with a high school job at the local movie theatre. From there, she began managing movie theatres with Cineplex Odeon. This early experience in the field informed her later work at Warner Home Video, where Laura analyzed moviegoers’ responses to ad campaigns. The many campaigns Laura worked on included Batman Begins, Good Night and Good Luck, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Polar Express, March of the Penguins, and Million Dollar Baby.
After producing the indie thriller Below Zero, Laura returned to marketing at Createasphere, a trade show company focused on the technology of filmmaking.
At Light Iron, she is responsible for engaging key audiences with Light Iron’s brand, artists, and bleeding-edge post production services.
Laura frequently volunteers as a career mentor to college students, and is an avid gardener.
