VP, US Operations
Josh Haynie began his career in the industry straight out of college as a Production Assistant and Editor, found his niche in post, and quickly navigated into leadership positions. A 25-year post production veteran, Josh led the first ever 2K color correction VFX sessions via wire, managed facility transitions from SD to HD for Episodic, and was at the forefront of Digital Mastering for films like Titanic.
Prior to assuming his current role at Light Iron, Josh spent 13 years at EFILM, where, as Managing Director, he oversaw all aspects of the company’s operations. Josh managed 100+ employees, and more than 650 digital intermediates were completed under his watch.
Josh is an Associate Member of the ASC, and is also actively involved in the HPA, SMPTE, and VES, serving on committees and panels for each group.
Josh enjoys volunteering in his hometown of Seal Beach, where he lives with his family.
